As a photographer, I work with light and its absence, also known as "light and shadow" or "chiaroscuro." These are fundamental elements in my visual compositions to create depth, form, and atmosphere in my artwork.

Lights, camera, action. Activating the camera shutter is the final step in a lengthy process (and it’s also the first step in a whole new chain of events - but that can keep for another article).

Just as photographers constantly work on improving their craft, knowing their best photo is yet to be taken, it is those they collaborate with - especially the models - who help bring these ideas to life.
