Whirling out of Nothingness is a beautiful book of fine-art B&W nudes with intriguing white-paper forms. The text talks about the history of paper sculptures, and their use in religion and rituals, while also contrasting belief systems that seek to control and condemn against the tone of the images portrayed.

The book features a font called Dear Sir Madam. Conceived as a one-off typeface for exhibitions and wall texts, Dear Sir Madam is an ode to classical shapes used as guides for signwriters. By reducing the use of straight lines Dear Sir Madam preserves its organic and calligraphic character. Instead of reconciling the inconsistencies and mistakes, it embraces them. Originally, the type was sent to each contributor to the exhibition (hence its name) for personal use, limiting its use to the group of collaborators. Now it is of course available to all.
